Support Team Culture for One
Help me fundraise in support of NYC children in foster care
I am so excited to run the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon in support of Culture for One, a nonprofit that brings the power of the arts to NYC children in foster care.
In the last few years, I have turned to running for both physical and mental health, and I learned that I can't live without it. After several half marathons, I decided it was time to give the marathon a go...and there's no better marathon than NYC!
I have been connected to Culture for One through family for many years. Having attended many Culture for One events, I have come to deeply admire and appreciate its important work. As an educator who has worked with many NYC students as well as someone who values music, theater, and art myself, continuing to support Culture for One through the NYC Marathon is a true honor.
Through Cultural Excursions, Arts Scholarships, and Creative Arts Workshops, Culture for One empowers youth to build resilience, forge meaningful connections, and envision brighter futures. In 2025, over 3,000 youth participated in these transformational programs.
My goal is to raise $3,500 by race day in support of Culture for One. Will you support me by making a donation?
